Temperature measurements for 37 stations for case study in Austria (Oberösterreich region) and a number of auxiliary maps at 1 km resolution. For more info see: www.zamg.ac.at

The convert the original MODIS LST Land Surface Temperature & Emissivity 8-Day L3 Global 1km product to degree celsius, use the following formula:

LST = MODISLST * 0.02 - 273.15
Available layers: 
  • uppera.txt --- table data for the study area (climatic stations);
  • LST20XX_avg, std, min, max --- MODIS LST mean, standard deviation and min and max values derived for period 2000-2011 (477 images);
  • LSTm_A20XX_apr.sgrd --- Mean monthly estimate of LST (1 km) in degree celsius;
  • srtm.sgrd --- 1 km resolution DEM of the study area;
  • globcov.sgrd --- GlobCover ENVISAT image for the study area;

uppera_LST.zip contains 131 geotifs of monthly averages (MODIS LST) for the given period.
